Douglas County, Oregon’s Commissioners announced the hiring of Nick Frisinger as the new Director of Solid Waste Department. Frisinger has more than 10 years of experience in the energy industry, leading projects and managing operations and logistics. Prior coming to Douglas County, he worked with ROMTEC Utilities in Roseburg as the Project Manager. Also, Frisinger was employed with Marathon Petroleum Corporation in California where he served as Logistics Foreman and Chemical Plant Operator. Frisinger studied Business Management at California Polytechnic Institute in San Luis Obispo, California.
