Shane Khoury has been confirmed as Secretary of the Arkansas Energy and Environment Department. Most recently the department's Chief Counsel, Mr. Khoury has served as the Arkansas Governor's Associate Representative to the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission, as Policy Advisor to the Arkansas Governor for Regulatory Affairs, and as Hearing Officer for the Oil and Gas Commission. He earned a BA in Political Science at Arkansas State University and a JD at the University of Arkansas Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. Mr. Khoury succeeds former Secretary Becky Keogh.
