Jeremy Humphries has been selected as the new Police Chief for Leland, NC

Jeremy Humphries has been selected as the new Police Chief for Leland, NC. Mr. Humphries has 23 years of law enforcement experience, started with the department in 2012 as a Detective, and has climbed the ranks since then. He's served as a Sergeant in the Investigations Department, a Support Services Lieutenant, a Patrol Lieutenant, and, most recently, a Support Services Captain. He earned a BS at Fayetteville State University and a JD at North Carolina Training and Standards. New Police Chief Jeremy Humphries replaces former Chief Brad Shirley.
