Julie Anderson, Commissioner of Alaska's Commerce, Community & Economic Development, announces her retirement

Julie Anderson, Commissioner of Alaska's Commerce, Community, and Economic Development Department, has retired effective January 14, 2022. Commissioner since December 2018, Ms. Anderson has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, as Stakeholder Manager of the Alaska Energy Authority, as Technical Support Business Strategy Manager for Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, and as Community Development Quota Manager for the State of Alaska. She earned a BS in Business at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and an MBA in International Business at Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1994. A new Commissioner has not yet been named.
