Andrew G. Ceresia to serve as Associate Justice in New York Supreme Court

Andrew G. Ceresia has been appointed as an Associate Justice in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Third Department, of the State of New York. Justice Ceresia served as an Acting Justice in the Third District of the New York State Supreme Court, as a Judge of the Rensselaer County Court, as an Appellate County Attorney in the Third Department of the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court, and as an Acting Judge for the City Courts of Albany, Rensselaer, and Hudson. Prior to this, he was Town Judge for North Greenbush, NY, and an Attorney at Carter, Conboy, Case, Blackmore, Maloney, and Laird. Justice Ceresia earned a BS at SUNY Oneonta and a JD at Albany Law School. He replaces former Justice Robert C. Mulvey.
