Mark Boman assumed the duties as Director of Civilian Corps

Mark Boman assumed the additional role as Director of Civilian Corps. Mr. Boman currently serves as the Chief of Staff, Naval Medical Forces Pacific. He served in the Navy for 34 years, retiring in 2011 as a Captain in the Medical Services Corps. Several of his assignments as a Navy Medical Service Corps Officer included Medical Company Commander, 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Force Service Support Group, Executive Officer, Rear Element, 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Force Service Support Group, Director for Administration, U.S. Naval Hospital, Rota, Spain, Medical Service Corps and Dental Corps Officer Community Manager, Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (N1), Director for Administration, Naval Medical Center, Commanding Officer, Fleet Hospital Bremerton/Executive Officer Naval Hospital, Bremerton, Commanding Officer, Naval Hospital, Twentynine Palms, Deputy Director, Medical Service Corps, Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, and Director, Program Operations, TRICARE Regional Office West, TRICARE Management Activity, San Diego. He holds a Baccalaureate degree in Health Care Administration from San Diego State University and a Master’s in Human Resources Management and Development from Chapman University.
