President Biden nominates Armando Valdez to serve as the State Director of the USDA's Colorado Rural Development State Office

President Biden has nominated Armando Valdez to serve as the State Director of the Colorado Rural Development State Office. In addition to his passions for agriculture, Mr. Valdez is an Assistant Professor of Management and the Director of the Health Care Administration Program in the School of Business at Adams State University.  Mr. Valdez is currently a member of the Colorado State University System Board of Governors.  During the Obama-Biden Administration, Mr. Valdez was appointed to the USDA-Farm Service Agency Executive Committee for Colorado. In 2012, Mr. Valdez was appointed as executive chair of this committee and served in that role until his term ended in 2018.
