Oregon Governor Kate Brown has appointed Douglas C. Grafe to be Wildfire Programs Director

Oregon Governor Kate Brown has appointed Douglas C. Grafe to be Wildfire Programs Director. Mr. Grafe has served in the Oregon Department of Forestry since 2004 in such positions as Fire Protection Chief, Deputy Fire Protection Chief, Fire Operations Manager, Toledo Unit Forest Manager, and Stewardship Forester. Prior to this, he served as the City Forester for the City of Albany, OR, as Harvest Inspector for the U.S. Forest Service, Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, and as Assistant Forester for Georgia Pacific Corporation in Florida. Mr. Grafe earned a BS in Forest Resources and Conservation at the University of Florida. Wildfire Programs Director is a new position in the Office of the Governor.
