Mr. Gregory D. Ford became the first civilian Director of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division

Mr. Gregory D. Ford recently became the new Director of the US Army Criminal Investigation Division. He succeeds former Director, BGen. Duane Miller, in the position. Previously, Mr. Ford served as the Special Agent for IRS-Criminal Investigation Division at Washington, D.C. His leadership positions include Executive Assistant Director for Criminal Investigations & Operations and Assistant Director for Criminal Investigations at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). Mr. Ford served as Special Agent-in-Charge and Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge for the NCIS, Southeast Asia Field Office, Singapore. He also served as Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge for NCIS Office of Special Projects, Washington, D.C. and Supervisory Special Agent of Inspections for NCIS Office of the Inspector General, Washington, D.C. Mr. Ford most recently served as the Deputy Director of Operations for Naval Criminal Investigative Service. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, and a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the US Naval War College.
