Ralph Cutie has been appointed Director and CEO of Miami International Airport

September 15, 2021: America’s busiest airport for international cargo and Florida’s second-busiest air passenger hub has a new Director. Ralph Cutié has been named Director and CEO of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. He oversees operations at Miami International Airport (MIA) and four general aviation (GA) airports in the Miami area. Cutie had served as interim Director and CEO after the departure of Lester Sola in June. Previously, he served as Assistant Director for Facilities Management and Engineering, overseeing the largest division within the Aviation Department. Cutie is a 30-year county veteran with extensive experience in the fields of project control, critical path method (CPM) scheduling, project management, construction contracting and construction claims administration. He began his career in 1990 with the Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) Department,
