Col. Timothy J. Curry has assumed command of the 319th Reconnaissance Wing, Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota

July 20, 2021: Col. Timothy J. Curry assumed command of the 319th Reconnaissance Wing, Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. As new Commander, he serves as the senior officer responsible for leading the premier Global Hawk wing comprised of three groups, 14 squadrons, and three detachments, executing a budget of $70 million, and employing aircraft and equipment valued at $3.8 billion. Prior to his current position, Col. Curry had been the Vice Commander of the 319th Reconnaissance Wing for the past year. He replaced Col. Cameron S. Pringle, who had served as Commander since June 2019. Col. Pringle's next assignment will be as an instructor at the National Defense University, Washington, D.C.
