The Hancock County, Mississippi School District has chosen Teresa Merwin to lead the district beginning July 1, 2021

June 7, 2021: The Hancock County, Mississippi School District has chosen Teresa Merwin to lead the district beginning July 1, 2021. Merwin is replacing Alan Dedeaux, who is retiring in June. Merwin is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where she received a bachelor’s degree in Business Technology Education and a Master of Science in Technology Education. She holds a Certificate of Endorsement in Administration and recently completed the Prospective Superintendent Leadership Academy, hosted by MSBA (Mississippi School Boards Association), as part of the 2020-2021 class.
