CSM. James D. Wilson has been named Command Sergeant Major, Aviation Branch for the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence

February 22, 2021: CSM. James D. Wilson has been named Command Sergeant Major, Aviation Branch for the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence. He succeeds former Command Sergeant Major, CSM. Brian N. Hauke in the position. CSM. Wilson began his military career in the United States Air Force, serving from 1990-1994. He joined the United States Army in 1996 and attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He completed his Advanced Individual Training at Fort Eustis, Virginia. He has served in numerous leadership positions throughout his career including Recruiting Sergeant Major, 160th SOAR(A), Fort Campbell, KY, Command Sergeant Major, 4th Battalion, 160th SOAR(A), Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Command Sergeant Major, Task Force 1st Battalion, 160th SOAR(A), Fort Campbell, KY, and Regiment Command Sergeant Major, 160th SOAR(A), Fort Campbell, KY. Prior to his current position, he served as Command Sergeant Major, U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command, Fort Bragg, NC.
