Tracy Wilkison was recently named the new Acting U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California

January 12, 2021: Tracy Wilkison was recently named the new Acting U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California. She succeeds former U.S. Attorney Nicola Hanna in the position. Ms. Wilkison joined the United States Attorney’s Office in 1999. Prior to her current position, she was the First Assistant United States Attorney. She also served as the Chief of the Cyber and Intellectual Property Crimes Section within the National Security Division, and served as its Deputy Chief from 2014 to August of 2015. Before joining the Cyber and Intellectual Property Crimes Section, Ms. Wilkison served as a Deputy Chief of the General Crimes Section, where she trained new AUSAs on prosecution skills and trial techniques, and was a member of the OCDETF Section where she prosecuted large-scale drug trafficking cases. She holds a law degree from Harvard Law School.
