Christopher Krebs was dismissed by President Trump as Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)

November 19, 2020: Christopher Krebs was dismissed by President Trump as Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Krebs had served in that role since November 2018. Previously he was Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection after joining DHS in March 2017 as a senior advisor for cybersecurity. Before joining DHS, Krebs was Director for Cybersecurity Policy for Microsoft’s Government Affairs team. Krebs, 43, earned a law degree from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University.
