The General Services Administration has named a new Ed Walters its new Chief Customer Officer for the Office of Customer Experience

October 15, 2020: The General Services Administration has named a new Ed Walters its new Chief Customer Officer for the Office of Customer Experience. Walters has extensive private sector experience. He was Vice President of Marketing and Communications at ACT from 2011 to 2014; General Manager of Strategy and Research at ConocoPhillips from 2009 to 2011; a Strategy Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton from 2004 to 2006; and a Brand Manager with Kraft Foods from 1998 to 2003. Walters work in the public sector includes serving as Chief Marketing Officer and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Army from 2006 to 2009. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Walters succeeds Camille Tucker, who served in an acting capacity since June and will resume her role as Senior Design Strategist in the Office of Customer Experience.
