Lt.Gen. Scott L. Pleus became the new Deputy Commander of US Forces Korea

June 30, 2020: During a recent change of command ceremony, Lt.Gen. Scott L. Pleus became the new Deputy Commander of US Forces Korea. Along with this responsibility, Pleus also assumes the positions of Commander, Air Component Command, United Nations Command; Commander, Air Component Command, Combined Forces Command, and Commander, 7th Air Force, Pacific Air Forces. Pleus replaces former Deputy Commander LtGen. Kenneth S. Wilsbach, who is moving to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam to take command of the Pacific Air Forces. Before leading the 7th Air Force, LtGen. Pleus served as the Director of Air and Cyberspace Operations, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
