Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has announced the appointment of Judge Gordon Moore to serve as the next Associate Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court

May 20, 2020: Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has announced the appointment of Judge Gordon Moore to serve as the next Associate Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court. Moore will fill the vacancy created upon the retirement of Justice David Lillehaug, who has served on the Supreme Court since 2013. He is currently serving as a Judge in the Fifth Judicial District in Nobles County. Before that, he was the Nobles County Attorney. Moore has a BA from Carleton College and his JD from the University of Iowa.
