James LaCroix hired as Corporate Director, Advanced Technologies Office, Huntington Ingalls Industries

May 14, 2019: James LaCroix has been hired as the Corporate Director for the Advanced Technologies Office at Huntington Ingalls Industries. LaCroix is set to report to John Donnelly, the company’s Vice President of the Advanced Technologies Office, and LaCroix is charged with overseeing the company’s work with the U.S. Navy Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Newport Division and the Naval War College, company officials said on Friday, May 10, 2019. LaCroix previously worked for the U.S. Navy’s NUWC for more than thirty-five years. During the past decade, LaCroix directly worked with the Navy’s Undersea Weapons Program Office on Torpedo Acquisition programs. He started his career as in 1980 as an NUWC Intern, and he accepted a full-time position at the Center’s Torpedo Department three years later. He also worked at the Unmanned Undersea Vehicle Branch there as a Line Supervisor.
