Rod Staponski hired as Vice President, Black and Veatch

March 14, 2019: Steve Scott, Mohan Singh, John Somerville and Rod Staponski have been hired as Vice Presidents at Black and Veatch. Company officials announced the hires on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. Scott was hired to be the U.S. Navy account lead official, with responsibility for strategic business development and naval client relations worldwide. He has four decades of architecture, engineering and construction industry experience. Singh, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers veteran and former executive at AECOM, was hired to lead Black and Veatch’s security assistance, critical infrastructure, civil works, environmental and classified programs for the U.S. Army. Somerville was hired to help expand design-build service offerings and lead indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity and original equipment manufacturer management programs. He previously managed AECOM’s federal facilities business line. Staponski was hired to be the construction services lead official and manage the development and expansion of program management and construction management operations, construction and design-build services and overall market approach. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran and has forty years of experience working in engineering, environmental and infrastructure projects.
