Joanne Isham hired as Chairman, Executive Advisory Board, Tyto Athene, Arlington Capital Partners

March 14, 2019: Joanne Isham has been hired as the Chairman of the newly-created Executive Advisory Board at Tyto Athene, a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners. Isham has worked in the intelligence field for nearly thirty years. She was previously the Deputy Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), a division of the U.S. Department of Defense; a Deputy Director for Science and Technology at the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA); and the Director of the Legislative Affairs at the National Reconnaissance Office at the Defense Department. Isham helped create the CIA’s venture capital division, In-Q-Tel. Isham previously provided advisory support to Tyto Athene, and she was also an adviser for the Polaris Alpha, Novetta and Quantum Spatial management teams. Tyto Athene is a systems integrator launched in August,2018, after Arlington Capital purchased Black Box’s Government Solutions division. The CIA is an independent federal government agency.
