Stephanie Davis nominated as U.S. District Court Judge for Michigan Eastern District

March 11, 2019: Stephanie D. Davis was nominated as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan on Friday, March 8, 2019. Davis, of Michigan, is currently a Magistrate Judge at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Before he took that position in 2016, Dawkins worked for eighteen years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan, including working as an Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney and at the Controlled Substances Unit. Before he worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Davis worked a lawyer in private practice. She received her B.S. degree from Wichita State University, and she received her law degree from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
