Charlie Long retires as Butler County, Ohio, County Administrator

Feb. 11, 2019: Judi Boyko has been hired as the Butler County, Ohio, County Administrator. Boyko succeeds Charlie Long, who retired at the end of December, 2018. Butler County Commissioners gave Boyko a five-year contract and an annual salary of $172,000. Boyko was most recently the Assistant Administrator for Hamilton County, Ohio. Boyko was previously the West Chester Township Administrator. Boyko left West Chester Township nineteen months ago to take the position of Hamilton County Assistant Administrator. In that position, she was in charge of the Communications Center, Planning and Development, Environmental Services and county facilities. Hired in 1992, Boyko started her work in West Chester as a Township Planner, and she was later named as the Director of Planning and Zoning, Assistant Township Administrator, and then as the Township Administrator, a position that she held for thirteen years.
