Zachary Ives appointed as New Mexico Court of Appeals Judge

Feb. 8, 2019: Zachary A. Ives was appointed as a New Mexico Court of Appeals Judge by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019. Ives, a New Mexico native and a lifelong state resident, has worked as a lawyer at several firms and in a solo practice for seventeen years, practicing in state and federal courts, and working on criminal, appellate, commercial and personal injury law cases. Ives was a Law Clerk for Chief Justice Pamela Minzner at the New Mexico State Supreme Court. He received his law degree from the University of New Mexico in 2000. He was admitted to the New Mexico bar in 2000.
