Since then, he’s been working on boards, teaching classes at George Mason University, and writing a book. Also at EverWatch, Fred Funk has been hired as the Chief Growth Officer, and Diane Nguyen has been hired as the Chief Financial Officer. Funk co-founded Hanover, Md.-based KeyW, which went public in 2010, and he was the President of ASRC Federal’s Cyber and Signals Intelligence Systems Division. Hguyen has worked for General Dynamics’ Information Technology division for the past fifteen years, most recently as the CFO and Vice President of Finance. Enlightenment Capital, a Chevy Chase, Md.-based aerospace and defense investment firm, formed the EverWatch intelligence contracting platform in October, 2018, by merging four entities together. Ashburn, Va.-based IEA Corporation was joined with ACES Inc., headquartered in Columbia, Md., and two other companies Enlightenment execs have declined to name. A fifth company, Dynamic Engineering Solutions, based in West River, Md., was added in November, 2018. Devin Talbott is Enlightenment Capital's managing partner. EverWatch employs about 400 people and currently has about $100 million in revenue. Hillen said the company expects sales to grow to $300 million to $500 million during the next five years. President Robert Miller and Chief Innovation Officer Jeb Pair--who led IEA and ACES, respectively—are scheduled to stay in those positions and see their leadership roles increase, Hillen said. Hillen is a former Chairman of the Arlington County, Va.-based Professional Services Council. A U.S. Army officer and decorated combat veteran, he was the Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs during former President George W. Bush’s administration.
