Glenn Davidson resigns as Executive Director, Enterprise Services, Commerce Department

Dec. 5, 2018: Glenn Davidson has resigned as the Executive Director of Enterprise Services at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Davidson held the position for the last three years. He has taken a job at the Human Capital Transformation office at Deloitte. Since 2015, Davidson led the department’s effort to consolidate all back-office functions. He did that by capturing the total cost of ownership for procurement, human resources, technology and financial management, did a comparative analysis of public and private sector companies, and then detailed what it would cost for people, process and technology to improve these administrative services. This was Davidson’s first experience in the federal government, having worked with consulting firms Accenture and KPMG. He was also the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Virginia in the early 1990s.
