Nov. 7, 2018: U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin, Maryland Democrat, was easily re-elected to a third term in Congressional elections held yesterday, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018. Cardin easily defeated a Republican challenger and an unaffiliated candidate in the Tuesday, Nov. 6, midterm election.
