Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, Republican, re-elected to second term

Nov. 7, 2018: Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, Republican, was re-elected to a second term in a statewide race for Governor held yesterday, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018. Hogan became the first Republican Governor in Maryland to win re-election to office since 1954 by defeating Ben Jealous, Democrat. Hogan, who is only the second Republican Governor to win two terms in Maryland's history, won in a state where Democrats outnumber Republicans 2-1.
