Bruce Crane appointed Chief Counsel, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection

Nov. 6, 2018: Bruce Crane was appointed as the Chief Counsel at the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection by Gov. Jerry Brown on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Crane, 59, Sacramento Democrat, was the department’s Acting Chief Counsel since 2018 and a lawyer there since 2000. He was previously a lawyer at the California Department of Veterans Affairs from 1997 to 1999. Crane received his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He will be paid $174,996 per year in his new position.
