October 11, 2018: Bradley D. Billhimer was officially sworn in as the Ocean County, N.J., Prosecutor at the Ocean County Court House on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Billhimer succeeds Joseph D. Coronato, who held the position since 2013. Before taking office as the Ocean County Prosecutor, Billhimer worked in private practice as a criminal defense attorney for seventeen years, first as a partner at Mohel and Billhimer, P.C., in Toms River, and, since 2010, as a solo practitioner in Toms River. Billhimer has been working as the co-chairman of the Ocean County Bar Association Municipal Court Committee and as a member of the Ocean County Bar Association Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee. In addition, he is currently a Member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Character. Billhimer is a member of the board of trustees of The People’s Pantry, a nonprofit food bank in Toms River, and he is a trustee for the Community Medical Center Foundation. Billhimer received his bachelor’s degree from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 1994, and he received his law degree from the Widener University School of Law in 2000.
