Keith Horaoka appointed as Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals Judge

October 11, 2018: Keith K. Hiraoka was appointed as a Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals Judge by Gov. David Ige on Friday, October 5, 2018. Hiraoka succeeds Lisa M. Ginoza, who was promoted to the position of Chief Judge of the Intermediate Court of Appeals in April, 2018. Hiraoka was most recently a Judge for the Hawaii First Circuit Court. He has practiced law in Hawaii since 1983. In recent years, his main areas of practice were insurance coverage and representing lawyers, accountants, realtors and other professionals in legal cases. Hiraoka is a 1980 graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law in 1983.
