U.S. Marine Corps Col. James Schnelle re-assigned from post as Commander, Marine Rotational Force in Darwin, Australia

October 10, 2018: U.S. Marine Corps Col. James Schnelle, the Commander of the Marine Rotational Force in Darwin, Australia, has been relieved of his duties, Marine Corps officials said on Monday, October 8, 2018. Schnelle was “relieved of his duties on Sept. 30 due to a loss of trust and confidence,” U.S. Marines First Lt. David Mancilla said in a statement. Lt. Col. Jeramy Brady has been assigned as the officer-in-charge for the duration of the rotation, Mancilla said.
