Michael Graney appointed as Executive Director, West Virginia Development Office

October 8, 2018: Michael R. Graney was appointed as the Executive Director of the West Virginia Development Office by Gov. Jim Justice on Sept. 29, 2018. Graney is a businessman and a lifelong resident of West Virginia. He worked for most of his career in the petroleum industry, and he was the president of One Stop in Charleston, W. Va., from 1991 to 2015. He is currently the chairman of the board of directors for the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences, and he is a member of the executive council of the Boy Scouts of America, Buckskin Council. He has also held several other positions at community-based non-profit organizations. The West Virginia Development Office includes the offices of Community Advancement and Development; International; the Small Business Development Center; and Business and Industrial Development.
