Arnold Punaro named Vice Chairman, National Defense Industrial Association

October 8, 2018: The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) has named M International Chief Executive Officer Richard McConn and Punaro Group CEO Arnold Punaro to the positions of Chairman and Vice chairman of NDIA’s Board of Directors, respectively. Both executives were hired for a term of up to two years, NDIA officials said on Monday, October 1, 2018. McConn has more than fifty years of experience in the security field, and he was previously a White House Aide for former President Richard Nixon and a Protocol Officer at the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Defense. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1966 and held various positions in the Air Force Reserves before he retired in 1992 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Punaro worked at the Science Applications International Corporation (SAID) for fourteen years as an Executive Vice President. The retired U.S. Marine Corps Major General also worked for thirteen years as a Staff Director at the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee.
