Jennifer Donnals appointed Tennessee Governor's Office Director of Communications

Sept. 14, 2018: Jennifer Donnals was appointed as the Tennessee Governor’s Office Director of Communications by Gov. Bill Haslam on Friday, August 31, 2018. Donnals, of Nashville, was most recently Haslam’s Press Secretary, a position she held since 2015. She started her career as a broadcast journalist, working at television stations in Ohio, Alabama and Tennessee. She was later appointed as the Director of Communications at the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office in Memphis. She next moved to Nashville to work in the Haslam administration as the Director of Communications for the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security. Donnals graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor of science degree in communications.
