Matt Hartman appointed Acting Driector, Cybersecurity and Communications, Homeland Security Department

Sept. 13, 2018: Mark Kneidlinger has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the National Risk Management Center at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Kneidinger was most recently the Director of the Cybersecurity and Communications Federal Network Resilience Division (FNR) at DHS. In his new position, Kneidlinger will be working alongside Bob Kolasky, who was appointed as the Center’s Director in early August, 2018. Meanwhile, Matt Hartman has been appointed as the Acting Director of the DHS Cybersecurity and Communications office, and Mike Duffy has been named the Acting Deputy Director of FNR. Kneidinger led FNR since 2015 and he worked for the office since 2013. Before that, he worked for private sector companies including CSC and CACI, and he was the Chief Executive Officer for state offices in New York and Virginia. Hartman has been with DHS since 2010, having spent four years working as an Acting Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager of the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program.
