Julia Irving hired as Director, Washington, D.C., Mayor's Office of Community Relations and Services

Sept. 12, 2018: Julia Irving was hired as the Director of the Washington, D.C., Mayor’s Office of Community Relations and Services by Mayor Muriel Bowser on Friday, Sept. 7, 2018. Irving was previously a Communications and Public Information Specialist at the Washington, D.C., Office of the Inspector General. Before that, she worked for a decade atas Community Outreach Coordinator at the D.C. city government’s Metropolitan Police Department, which is the city government’s Police Department. Irving received a master of business administration degree from American University, and a bachelor of arts degree in sociology and English from the University of Virginia.
