Bradford Karony hired as Director, National Security Operations, LMI

Sept. 12, 2018: Bradford Karony has been hired as the Director of National Security Operations at LMI, LMI officials announced on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018. He is scheduled to be responsible for the company’s line of service offerings such as intelligence training; testing and assessment of national security-specific equipment, process protection and machinery; and signals intelligence, human and imagery support, LMI officials said on Sept. 5, 2018. Karony “is uniquely qualified to ensure we are developing capabilities that anticipate and address client needs in intelligence collection and processing, tradecraft training, and analysis,” said John Selman, the Vice President for National Security at LMI. Before LMI, Karony retired from the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he was Manager for the CIA’s Directorate of Operations and a Mentor at the Directorate’s Training Center. Karony, who was a twenty-year intelligence professional, also previously worked for the U.S. Marine Corps as a Battalion Adjutant for an East Coast infantry battalion. The CIA is an independent federal government agency.
