August 9, 2018: Chris Marzilli has been named as the Executive Vice President of the Information Technology and Mission Systems divisions at General Dynamics, effective on Jan. 1, 2019. Marzilli is currently the President of General Dynamics’ Mission Systems (GDMS) division. In his new position, Marzilli succeeds Dan Johnson, who is scheduled to retire at the end of 2018, General Dynamics officials said on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Marzilli worked for eight years as General Dynamics’ C4 Systems division before he was named to his current position in 2014. He previously held program management positions at GTE Government Systems, which General Dynamics purchased in 1999. Christopher Brady, the Vice President of Engineering at General Dynamics Mission Systems, has been named to succeed Marzilli at GDMS. Brady was previously the General Manager of General Dynamics’ Assured Communications Systems division, and the leader of the Radio Products division. Brady was previously affiliated with a Motorola division, which became part of General Dynamics after its acquisition in 2001. General Dynamics is based in Falls Church, Virginia.
