Adriana Martinez appointed Deputy Director, Outreach, California Complee Count Census

August 6, 2018: Adriana Martinez was appointed as the Deputy Director of Outreach for the California Complete Count Census by Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Martinez, 47, Alhambra Democrat, was recently the Director of External Affairs at AT&T California from 2011 to 2018. She was also AT&T California’s Director of Public Affiars from 2011 to 2014. Martinez was previously the president of Adriana Martinez Group LLC from 2007 to 2011; the Assistant Deputy Mayor of Economic Developme at the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Economic Development from 2005 to 2007; the Director of Economic Development and Field Operation at the office of Los Angeles City Councilman Antonio Villaraigosa in 2004 and 2005; and the Policy Director and the Los Angeles Business Team Area Manager at the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office in 2002 and 2003. Martinez received a master of business administration degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Management. She will be paid $140,004 per year in her new position.
