Jim Lindenmayer appointed as Member, Iowa Board of Regents

July 9, 2018: Jim Lindenmayer was appointed as a Member of the Iowa Board of Regents by Gov. Kim Reynolds on Friday, June 29, 2018. Lindemayer was previously the President of Indian Hills Community College (IHCC). Lindenmayer started his tenure at IHCC in June, 1980, working as the college’s Continuing Education Coordinator and then as Vice President of Administration and Human Resources. In December, 2001, he took office as President. During his twelve years as President, he led the three-campus system that included eight additional county seat centers. Lindenmayer received his doctorate from the University of Iowa, his master’s degree from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, and his undergraduate degree from William Penn University. He is the current chairman of the National Job Corps Association in Washington, D.C.
