Jean Cunningham appointed Vice Chairman, Virginia Parole Board

June 13, 2018: Jean W. Cunningham was re-appointed as a Member of the Virginia Parole Board and she was appointed as the Board’s Vice Chairman by Gov. Ralph Northam on Friday, June 8, 2018. Cunningham was previously a Member of the Virginia State Council of Higher Education and the Chairman of the State Board of Elections. From 1986 to 1998, she represented Henrico and part of the city of Richmond as the State Delegate for District 71 at the Virginia House of Delegates. Cunningham worked for the Reynolds Metal Company, which is now Alcoa, for twenty-three years, and she retired from Alcoa as the vice president of human resources for two business divisions with offices in the United States and Europe. Cunningham graduated in 1974 from the Howard University School of Law.
