Todd Nukes nominated as U.S. Marshal for Illinois Northern District

May 15, 2018: Todd L. Nukes was nominated as the U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Illinois on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Nukes, of Indiana, is currently the Acting U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Indiana, position that he has held since 2015. Nukes joined the U.S. Marshals Service in 1990, and he has spent his entire Marshals Service career at the Northern District of Indiana, holding the positions of Deputy U.S. Marshal, Judicial Security Inspector, Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal and Acting U.S. Marshal. Nukes is a current Member of the Executive Board at the Indiana High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area program, and he has taught at the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada, on judicial security issues. Nuke also previously worked at the Grant County Sheriff’s Department from 1986 to 1990. Nukes received a B.S. in criminology from Ball State University.
