Sarah Morrison nominated as U.S. District Court Judge for Ohio Southern District

April 13, 2018: Sarah D. Morrison was nominated as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of Ohio on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Morrison, of Ohio, is currently the Administrator and Chief Executive Officer of the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, where she oversees the investment of $25 billion and an agency staff of about 1,800 people. Before taking this position, she worked for four years as the General Counsel and Chief Ethics officer at that agency. Morrison was previously a partner at the Columbus office of Taft Stettinius and Hollister LLP, where she practiced complex civil and commercial litigation. Morrison receiver her law degree from the Capital University School of Law.
