Andrew Brasher nominated as U.S. District Court Judge, Alabama Middle District

April 13, 2018: Andrew L. Brasher was nominated as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Middle District of Alabama on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Brasher is currently the Alabama Solicitor General, a position that he has held since 2014. Before that appointment, he worked for several years as the Deputy Solicitor General. Before he joined the Alabama Attorney General’s Office, Brasher practiced at the litigation and white-collar criminal defense practice groups at the Birmingham office of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP. Brasher received his law degree from the Harvard Law School.
