Wendy Berger nominated as U.S. District Court Judge, Florida Middle District

April 13, 2018: Wendy W. Berger was nominated as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Middle District of Florida on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Berger, of Florida, is currently a Florida Court of Appeal Judge for the state’s Fifth District, where she has worked since her appointment by the Governor in 2012. Before that, she worked for seven years as a Circuit Court Judge for the Seventh Judicial Circuit, where she handled civil, criminal and death penalty cases. Before that, she worked for four years as an Assistant General Counsel at the Governor’s Office. Before that, she worked for seven years prosecuting criminal cases as an Assistant State Attorney. Berger received her law degree from the Florida State University College of Law.
