Raul Arias-Marxuach nominated as U.S. District Court Judge for Puerto Rico

April 13, 2018: Raul M. Arias-Marxuach was nominated as a U.S. District Court Judge for the District of Puerto Rico on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. He is currently the vice chairman of the Litigation Practice Group at McConnell Valdes LLC. His commercial litigation practice focuses on contracts, products liability, personal injury, antitrust and maritime disputes. He has worked at McConnell Valdes for two decades. Before he joined the law firm, he was a Law Clerk for Puerto Rico Supreme Court Judge Antonio S. Negron-Garcia. Arias-Marxuach received degrees from the Harvard Law School, the University of Puerto Rico Law School and Boston College.
