Claria Boom confirmed as U.S. District Court Judge for Kentucky Eastern and Western Districts

April 12, 2018: Claria H. Boom was confirmed as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky by the U.S. Senate on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Boom, of Kentucky, was most recently a partner at the Lexington office of Frost Brown Todd LLC. She previously worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney at the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, where she prosecuted financial crimes, including bank fraud, wire fraud and tax fraud. Before that, she was a lawyer at King and Spalding in Atlanta, where she represented clients in product liability and toxic tort litigation. Boom received her law degree from the Vanderbilt University Law School in 1994.
