Judith Stecker appointed as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, U.S. Health and Human Services Department

March 13, 2018: Judith M. Stecker was appointed as the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Friday, March 9, 2018. Stecker, of New York, most recently worked as an executive director of media relations and strategic marketing at the private, non-governmental American Enterprise Institute. She previously worked as a senior associate at the communications staff at the private, non-governmental Heritage Foundation, a political organization located in Washington, D.C. She also worked as the director of communications for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Stecker received an M.A. in communication, culture and technology from Georgetown University.
