Charlie Condon appointed as South Carolina Santee Cooper Board of Directors Chairman

March 12, 2018: Charlie Condon was appointed as the Chairman of South Carolina Santee Cooper’s Board of Directors by Gov. Henry McMaster on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Condon was appointed to the unexpired term that ends in May, 2018, that was left vacant when former Chairman Leighton Lord resigned in December, 2017. McMaster plans to appoint Condon to a full, seven-year term after the current term ends. Condon currently worked as a Charleston-area lawyer. He was previously the South Carolina Attorney General from 1995 to 2003. Condon previously worked as the Solicitor in Charleston and Berkeley Counties. Condon graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1975, and he received his law degree from the Duke University School of Law.
